Quick Bio

Dae Bogan is an educator, consultant, and serial entrepreneur with over 10 years of integrated marketing, strategic development, and management experience in startups, emerging ventures, and Fortune 1000 companies. He is the founder of early-stage advisory and consultancy firm ENT Ventures where he works with a variety of startups in the digital media, entertainment, and education industries. With his latest venture ChazBo Music, Dae helps retailers to develop a sonic identity through the thoughtful curation and programming of in-store music experiences that help fans to discover independent artists and new music.

Previously, Dae was an Adjunct Professor at Emerson College - Los Angeles Center, where he developed and taught the entertainment marketing and cross promotions course covering film, TV, music, games, and social media. Prior to joining Emerson, Dae was the VP of Marketing & Strategic Partnerships of youth-targeted retail chain Shiekh Shoes and General Manager of Shiekh Music where he developed and oversaw a comprehensive music retail program with Universal Music Group and music brand activations with Adidas, Converse, Creative Recreation, and many others.

A serial entrepreneur featured in YFS (Young, Fabulous & Self-Employed) Magazine, Dae has founded numerous businesses including a marketing agency, an event production company, an independent record label, a music publishing company, an artist management agency, and two music tech startups.

Dae spends his free time contributing to the furtherance and sustainability of the greater independent music community as a speaker, writer, and guest presenter. Most of his work in this capacity can be found at his website DaeBoganMusic.com.

Dae received the degree of Master of Arts in Music Industry Administration from California State University, Northridge in 2015 and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2008.
