Carlos Gil is a marketing executive with extensive digital media expertise: web, social, mobile, email channels. Currently, Carlos leads Digital and Social Media marketing for Save-A-Lot food stores, a wholly owned subsidiary of SUPERVALU INC., a Fortune 100 company and one of the largest companies in the United States grocery channel. In this role, Carlos is accountable for the development and execution of strategies aimed to increase brand engagement, shopper loyalty, and sales in a digital space where millions of consumers are speaking about the brand and competition. Carlos has extensive experience leading social media programs in partnership with: PepsiCo, Coca-Cola, Frito Lay, Tostitos, Mondelez, Unilever and other CPG brands. As Social Media Manager at BI-LO and Winn-Dixie supermarkets, Carlos developed strategy and led the launch for all of Winn-Dixie’s social channels, social listening, and blogger influencer program yielding exceptional consumer engagement and brand awareness
