Quick Bio

After years in the active lifestyle industry, Bryan Papé, CEO and Founder of MiiR, established the outdoor lifestyle brand designed to empower others to rise above poverty through every product sold. In 2009, Papé jumpstarted his career in the outdoor industry as the first employee and minority owner of Little Hotties Warmers which sold to Implus. Soon after MiiR was birthed out of a desire to build a better water bottle and give clean drinking water to those in need.

He pioneered the idea of ‘empowered giving’- a process he likens to giving that is sustainable and empowers others through hand-ups not hand-outs. Since 2010, MiiR has provided over 40,000 people with access to clean water from Laso to Liberia. In 2011 while traveling in Liberia Africa, Bryan noticed how the bicycle was transforming lives and solved issues from mobility and education, to the environment and improved health. Inspired by the work done with MiiR bottles, Bryan launched an urban MiiR bicycle line. MiiR has given over 315 bicycles to those in need.

In 2009, Bryan was awarded the first Young Alum of the Year from his alma mater Seattle Pacific University and in 2013 he and his wife Rebecca were honored as Supporters of the Year by MiiR’s giving partner One Day’s Wages. Bryan is passionate about the outdoors and giving back in every facet of life. He enjoys skiing and mountaineering and has successfully summited Mount Rainier three times while raising over $35,000 for clean water projects around the world.
