Quick Bio

Charles practices law in Florida and the District of Columbia. He has taught full-time at four U.S. law schools and at four foreign universities, most recently teaching contracts, sales and international law at Florida Coastal University. Charles graduated from Harvard College, the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, and Columbia Business School.

Charles helped create a line of non-profit construction and renovation finance services as a member of a small team of marketing, operations, finance and legal professionals at an S&P 500 company. These financial services reached $2 billion in outstanding loans in ten years.

Charles served as a trustee for an independent school, supervising its financing of $30 million in building renovations, and serving as chair of its finance and audit committees.

Charles's book, Every1’s Guide to Electronic Contracts, provides information for consumers, employees, businesses, professionals and students about U.S. and international contract law rules, including digital signatures and contracts. He blogs on these topics at and (mobile and desktop).
